“For me, photography is not just a hobby, it is capturing emotions and the beauty of nature. It captures moments and feelings in a picture forever. Photography allows people to see the world through my eyes and it always shows a part of my soul.”
Landscape photography is my favorite because I love being outdoors, escaping everyday life and observing and experiencing nature especially when traveling.
It was a dream come true to travel to Lofoten Islands. I was never really a person who liked ice and snow but I was mesmerized by that beautiful landscape. I joined a small group of photographers together with two guides, who took us to the most beautiful spots I have ever seen. There was a lot of wind, snow, ice and of course snow storms and very cloudy skies, but all of a sudden the sky cracked open with a mystical glow and enchanted the landscape of snow and ice even more. The northern lights were an incredible highlight. We squeaked with joy like little children.
Taking landscape pictures is like explaining things with no words.
